Coxreels is seeking an experienced, results-driven National Channel Manager (NCM) – OEM Accounts with a proven record of growing and managing strategic OEM relationships. The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing strategies to expand OEM revenue and strengthen partnerships while collaborating with various internal teams to enhance customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Own Coxreels’ OEM account strategy and deliver sustained revenue growth with existing partners while developing new OEM relationships nationwide
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships within OEM organizations, serving as the primary point of contact and advocate for the customer
- Identify, qualify, and close new OEM opportunities—aligning customer requirements with Coxreels’ product capabilities, lead times, and quality standards
- Partner with manufacturer representatives to identify and close new customer opportunities, develop existing accounts, and grow territory performance through joint planning, field activity, and pipeline management
- Develop account plans, pipeline visibility, and forecasts; track progress to goals and proactively remove obstacles to execution
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Customer Service, Marketing, and Accounting to ensure accurate quoting, smooth launches, and on-time, on-spec delivery
- Represent the voice of the OEM customers by capturing feedback, communicating needs internally, and ensuring alignment on Coxreels policies, procedures, and expectations
- Elevate Coxreels’ brand presence within OEM channels through product education, value-based positioning, and clear communication of differentiators
- Bring forward market intelligence, competitive insights, and product/feature opportunities to executive leadership to support continuous improvement and innovation
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Vice President of Sales and Business Development
Skills
- 5+ years of success in OEM account management and business development (industrial/manufacturing environment) required
- Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth—building pipelines, advancing opportunities, negotiating terms, and consistently closing new business
- Strong relationship and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively from plant floor to executive leadership
- Proven negotiation, presentation, and influence skills; able to lead value-based conversations and protect margins while meeting customer needs
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams to support quoting, product fit, new program launches, and issue resolution in a deadline-driven environment
- Highly organized with strong analytical/problem-solving skills; comfortable managing multiple priorities and maintaining accurate pipeline/forecast visibility
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; ability to create clear proposals, presentations, and business updates
- High-energy, customer-focused approach with a hands-on, 'do what it takes' mindset and a commitment to delivering an excellent OEM experience
