A&M Industrial is a family-owned industrial distributor seeking a part-time Marketing Associate to support their digital marketing and content creation efforts. The role involves tasks such as Adobe InDesign production, blog and website content support, and digital campaign execution, aimed at enhancing the company's online presence and marketing effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Build and format pages, tables, and layouts in Adobe InDesign using existing templates and brand style guides
- Assist with catalog updates, page builds, table formatting, and pricing updates
- Place and format images, product data, vendor assets, and related content
- Support hyperlinking of product codes to website pages and product detail pages
- Help export and package print-ready PDFs to printer specifications under guidance
- Maintain consistency across design files, catalogs, flyers, and related marketing materials
- Publish blog posts based on guided topics, with a goal of supporting regular weekly content production
- Assist with blog graphics, hyperlinking, formatting, and content placement
- Update existing blog content, including FAQs, lists, headings, metadata, and SEO/AEO formatting improvements
- Add basic product marketing copy, page descriptions, meta descriptions, and other website content updates
- Support uploading, organizing, and maintaining content assets such as images, video links, PDFs, and vendor materials
- Assist with YouTube descriptions, backlink formatting, and supporting content optimization
- Create and edit basic video content for marketing and campaign support
- Assist with email campaign setup, graphics, formatting, and content placement
- Schedule and format social media posts from provided content
- Support the creation of HubSpot snippets, marketing assets, and campaign materials
- Help create and maintain weekly promotional email execution
- Ensure campaign materials are accurate, consistent, and aligned with A&M’s brand standards
- Enter, update, and improve product data in A&M’s PIM system
- Write and revise product marketing descriptions with SEO/AEO best practices in mind
- Assist with product image uploads, linking, vendor asset cleanup, and content organization
- Help improve the quality, consistency, and completeness of product information across digital platforms
- Assist with landing page updates, content placement, and page formatting
- Support internal linking updates across product pages, category pages, and blog content
- Help maintain category images, banners, and basic website content hygiene
- Develop banner artwork and other digital graphics for website, email, and campaign use
- Identify content gaps, broken links, outdated assets, or areas where website presentation can be improved
Skills
- 0–2 years of experience in marketing, design, content support, digital marketing, or a related area
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with basic video editing software or willingness to learn
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts, including page titles, keywords, headings, meta descriptions, and internal linking
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow templates, style guides, and structured processes
- Comfortable handling repetitive production, formatting, and data entry tasks
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple small projects or tasks at once
- Interest in industrial products, B2B marketing, digital content, or eCommerce is a plus
