Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking a Manager for their BridgeCare Recruiting team. This role is responsible for leading and supporting the locum recruiting team in placing qualified physicians and CRNAs, ensuring timely provider placements and maintaining high service levels.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, train, and support a team of locum recruiters, including onboarding, coaching, performance management, and ongoing development
- Manage the full lifecycle locum recruitment process for physician and CRNA staffing needs while maintaining individual recruiting production goals
- Partner with locum agencies, staffing vendors, regional leadership, and hospital stakeholders to support provider placements and staffing priorities
- Monitor recruiter productivity, recruiting activity, and staffing progress to ensure team goals and service expectations are achieved
- Oversee the locum placement process from candidate presentation through onboarding and assignment start dates
- Build and maintain strong relationships with providers, vendors, and internal stakeholders while ensuring a high level of customer service and responsiveness
- Utilize Vendor Management Systems (VMS), applicant tracking systems, and recruiting platforms to manage candidate activity and placements
- Collaborate with credentialing, operations, and compliance teams to support successful provider placements and timely onboarding
- Provide regular updates regarding recruiting activity, staffing challenges, market trends, and active placements to leadership
- Support continuous improvement efforts within the recruiting team and staffing process
Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of healthcare recruiting experience required
- Previous locum tenens recruiting experience required
- Experience utilizing Vendor Management Systems (VMS), applicant tracking systems, and recruiting technologies required
- Strong understanding of locum tenens recruiting and healthcare staffing
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and support recruiting team members
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Workday, and/or Vendor Management Systems
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Anesthesia recruiting experience preferred
- Previous leadership, mentoring, or team lead experience preferred
- Experience working within a healthcare staffing or locum tenens environment preferred
