[Remote] Lead Quality Assurance Engineer – Media Residuals (Test Lead)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pacer Group is seeking a seasoned Lead QA Engineer to oversee testing initiatives within a specialized media residuals platform. The incumbent will serve as the technical lead for quality engineering, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of applications critical to the media industry’s financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including test planning, accurate estimation, execution tracking, defect management, and formal release sign-off
• Lead the adoption of QA automation, identifying high-impact opportunities to improve overall testing efficiency and coverage
• Act as a primary liaison for the onsite/offshore delivery model, ensuring seamless synchronization, high-quality deliverables, and clear status reporting
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of all test artifacts, including scenarios, cases, automation scripts, and final reports to ensure adherence to quality standards
• Own the communication of testing progress, identifying technical risks and dependencies while developing and implementing proactive mitigation plans

Skills

• 6–9 years of professional experience, specifically within media residuals-related platforms and applications
• Expertise in Test Management and execution tracking, including planning, estimation, and release sign-off
• Hands-on technical proficiency with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS/Azure DevOps), and TFS
• Advanced experience with SQL Server Management Studio for backend data validation
• Demonstrated ability to manage and drive onsite/offshore delivery models
• Proven track record in driving QA automation adoption and framework optimization
• Strong background in continuous improvement initiatives and implementing industry-standard QA best practices
• Experience in facilitating stakeholder communication regarding risk mitigation and dependency management
• Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration in high-stakes production environments
