We are seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Intake Specialists, working remotely with occasional on-site visits. As an Intake Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our clients, handling inbound calls, and ensuring seamless communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for applicants, responding to incoming calls and accurately entering information into various systems
- Navigate multiple systems to access relevant information, providing timely and effective solutions to customers
- Determine follow-up protocols, ensuring efficient and timely resolution of customer inquiries
- De-escalate upset callers, providing empathetic and professional support to ensure customer satisfaction
- Perform additional duties within the department as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Preferred call center experience with inbound call handling
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, and type information efficiently and accurately
- Strong listening and empathy skills, with the ability to navigate multiple programs simultaneously
- Accurate keyboarding skills, with a typing speed of 25 wpm or more
- Detail-oriented, with problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong multi-tasking skills, with the ability to demonstrate empathy and handle stressful situations
- Bilingual in English and/or Spanish (highly desirable)
- High School Diploma or GED required
