The Inside Sales Representative II is responsible for managing the full sales cycle for assigned prospects and customers, ensuring compelling sales experiences that align with Tekion's value proposition.
Responsibilities
- Conduct discovery calls, product demos, and needs assessments to understand customer requirements
- Manage and progress a pipeline of qualified opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets
- Collaborate with marketing to follow up on inbound leads and nurture prospects through the funnel
- Customize product messaging and proposals based on prospect needs, challenges, and business goals
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth handoff and onboarding of closed deals
- Stay up to date on product offerings, competitive landscape, and market trends. Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to improve messaging and customer alignment
Skills
- 2–4 years of inside sales or business development experience in a SaaS or technology environment
- Proven ability to meet or exceed individual sales quotas
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), sales engagement tools, and prospecting platforms
- Comfortable conducting demos and presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
