They are seeking an Executive, Finance Director to serve as a strategic business partner supporting a large and growing Wealth & Retirement business, focusing on financial performance and long-term growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior business leaders to develop and execute strategic financial plans
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning activities
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations supporting business growth and profitability objectives
- Evaluate new business opportunities, product initiatives, strategic partnerships, and operational investments
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators to measure business performance
- Deliver meaningful financial insights to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Identify business risks and opportunities while recommending corrective actions and growth strategies
- Collaborate with investment, actuarial, product, operations, and corporate finance teams
- Lead and develop finance professionals while fostering a high-performance culture
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience within annuities, wealth management, and/or retirement services
- CPA, CFA, CMA, FSA, ASA, MBA, or other relevant professional designation
- Experience supporting senior executives and influencing strategic business decisions
- Strong financial planning, forecasting, and analytical capabilities
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Experience supporting annuity, retirement, pension, institutional investment, or wealth management businesses
- Knowledge of asset-liability management, capital management, product profitability, and enterprise financial planning
- Experience evaluating strategic growth initiatives, acquisitions, partnerships, or business transformation efforts
