The Enrollment Specialist is responsible for engaging prospective members, educating them about support services, and enrolling eligible individuals, while managing a high volume of outbound calls and building trusting relationships with members.
Responsibilities
- Complete virtual onboarding and training to learn systems, tools, and procedures
- Make 80 to 100 outbound calls daily to prospective members
- Follow care team policies, escalation protocols, communication standards, and documentation requirements
- Inform eligible members about program benefits and how the organization supports their cancer care journey
- Build trusting relationships with members through active listening and empathy
- Obtain consent, conduct enrollment surveys, and escalate urgent member needs
- Participate in coaching sessions and apply feedback to meet quality and productivity goals
Skills
- Experience in sales roles or recent college graduate with 1+ years in a fast-paced environment
- Strong listening, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly goals
- Comfort using Zoom, Google Suite, Slack, and learning new technologies
- Adaptability to rapid changes common in start-up environments
- Access to a private, quiet, secure workspace with reliable high-speed internet
- Must be located within the lower 48 United States due to contractual requirements
