Edison Smart® is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of power infrastructure systems for hyperscale data centers. This role involves developing electrical designs, validating solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high reliability and efficiency in mission-critical operations.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems including MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, and busway systems
- Produce single-line diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings
- Perform load calculations and basic power system analysis
- Evaluate system redundancy (N, N+1, 2N) and reliability
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and vendor teams
- Support procurement, commissioning, and testing activities
- Create and maintain BOMs and engineering documentation
- Provide technical support during design, construction, and operations
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 3+ years of electrical design experience
- Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, or similar
- Strong understanding of power distribution systems and electrical components
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Experience in data centers or mission-critical environments
- Knowledge of UPS, generators, and redundancy design
- Familiarity with power system studies and industry standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC)
- Experience with commissioning or site support
