In this role, you will develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the HDI team, ensuring sales and revenue goals are met while fostering a collaborative sales culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a national sales strategy that is aligned with the company's overall business objectives
- Set ambitious sales targets and ensure their achievement through effective planning and execution
- Leads the Go-To-Market strategy and helps drive the tactical marketing plans
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a distributed team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance
- Establish clear goals and performance metrics for the sales team, regularly reviewing and providing feedback to ensure continuous improvement
- Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and excellence within the sales organization
- Partner with relevant stakeholders to ensure the optimization of sales processes, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with operations and cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and technology, to ensure alignment and drive customer satisfaction
- Monitor sales, pipeline, and revenue targets leveraging the CRM solution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders
- Ensure the sales team delivers exceptional customer experiences, addressing client needs and concerns promptly and effectively
- Leverage customer feedback to refine sales strategies and improve product offerings
Skills
- Minimum of ten years of similar or related experience in sales leadership roles in B2B subscription sales
- Demonstrated track record of being able to hit and exceed sales and revenue goals inclusive of at least five years in the healthcare industry
- Established relationships with key hospital and health system executives
- Bachelor's degree required in a related field
- A track record of driving new business and developing new partnerships within the healthcare market
- Experience working in a growth environment developing sales pipelines and managing sales cycles to ensure successful deal closures
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to effectively convey ideas to clients and close deals
- Results-oriented mindset with self-motivation
- Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
- Experience in a start-up healthcare software environment leading new business partnerships
- Strong relationships with health system and hospital executives including chief medical and quality officers and marketing leaders
- A Masters in business, healthcare management or public health
