Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Nagler Group is a high-growth defense technology company seeking a Director of Finance to join their team. This role will report to the CFO and is responsible for building the finance function, leading financial planning, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and cash flow management
- Support compliance, governance, and cost accounting for government contracts
- Manage board reporting, investor reporting, and financial planning activities
- Partner with department leaders on budgeting, spend analysis, and strategic initiatives
- Build financial systems, processes, and infrastructure to support company growth
- Coordinate audits, tax filings, and relationships with external advisors
Skills
- 10+ years of finance, accounting, or FP&A experience
- Defense or government contracting experience required
- Experience with FAR/DFARS and DCAA cost accounting standards
- Accounting-to-finance career progression required
- U.S. Person status required
- CPA or MBA a plus
- Experience with board and investor reporting
