Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Remote Collections & Billing Specialist(Epicor Prophet 21 / P21) to support our accounts receivable and collections operations. This role is responsible for managing billing, invoicing, collections, customer account reconciliation, and accounts receivable activities while working extensively within the Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) system. The ideal candidate has proven hands-on experience with P21, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage customer accounts effectively in a fast-paced environment. As Epicor Prophet 21 experience is the primary requirement for this position, candidates with demonstrated expertise in billing, collections, and accounts receivable within the P21 ecosystem will be given strong preference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage collections and follow up on outstanding customer balances.
- Create, review, and process customer invoices.
- Maintain accurate billing and accounts receivable records.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer account issues.
- Utilize Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) to perform daily billing, accounts receivable, and collections activities.
- Reconcile customer accounts and payment discrepancies.
- Prepare accounts receivable and collections reports.
- Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances and payment status.
- Perform other duties related to the position as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proficient level of English (written and spoken).
- Excellent professional and communication skills, allowing for effective collaboration with clients, vendors, and teammates.
- Previous hands-on experience with Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) is required.
- Strong billing, collections, and accounts receivable experience, within the Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) ecosystem.
- Proven ability to manage customer accounts and collection activities effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines consistently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working within structured processes and established workflows.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, software, and workflows.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and standard business tools (email, spreadsheets, document management).
- Out-of-the-box thinker, highly adaptable, reliable, self-motivated, and confident approach.
- Positive attitude and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Ability to understand and follow established processes accurately with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work U.S. Eastern Time (New York) business hours and adapt to business needs.
