As a Client Relationship Consultant in Group Benefits, you will partner closely with the Sales team and top-level Broker partners to develop and implement customized strategies.
Responsibilities
- Delivering upon a strategic relationship plan that includes quarterly/annual goals
- Providing expert renewal analysis & delivery
- Delivering outstanding service and selling new lines of business
Skills
- Bachelors degree or equivalent plus 4+ years related experience (group benefits and/or account management experience preferred)
- Must be able to acquire and maintain all required state licenses within 90 days. Active life/health license preferred
- Must have excellent persuasion, interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making, time management, presentation, listening, and oral/written communication skills, as well as analytical skills
- Advanced math skills required with basic skills related to graphs, symbols, equations, etc
- Maintain accuracy while being detail oriented
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential
- Travel required (approx. 25%), including overnight stays and time out in the market in face-to-face contact with customers and brokers
- 8+ years of related experience (group benefits and/or account management experience)
- Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of business unit applications preferred
