They are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to build strategic relationships with medium and large enterprises in the United States and Canada, focusing on IoT product development and cloud-enabled solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute MIOT’s enterprise business development strategy for the USA and Canada
- Identify and engage medium-sized and large companies with IoT product, connectivity, engineering, or manufacturing requirements
- Build relationships with executives, product leaders, engineering directors, sourcing teams, and operations leaders
- Create opportunities for:
- Custom IoT product development
- ODM and OEM programs
- Asset tracking and fleet-management devices
- Cold-chain and temperature-monitoring solutions
- Industrial gateways and connected sensors
- Livestock-monitoring solutions
- Private-label and white-label IoT products
- SaaS-enabled device-management services
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise business development, strategic sales, or key-account management
- Proven experience developing large B2B customers in the United States or Canada
- Strong network within one or more of the following sectors: IoT and connected devices, Electronics and embedded systems, Telecommunications, Fleet and asset management
- Experience selling ODM/OEM, electronics manufacturing, engineering, or IoT solutions
- Familiarity with cellular, GNSS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRaWAN, sensors, gateways, and cloud platforms
- Existing relationships with Fortune 1000 companies, large OEMs, system integrators, or enterprise technology customers
- Experience working with engineering or manufacturing teams in Asia
- Understanding of recurring-revenue, device-as-a-service, or SaaS business models
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field
