ProCraft Cabinetry is continuing its strategic expansion across the Midwest and Eastern U.S., and they are seeking an experienced Builder Sales Manager to help grow their dealer, builder, contractor, and remodeler customer base. This role is designed for a results-driven sales professional who can develop new business and build strong relationships with customers in the residential construction and remodeling industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and expand relationships with home builders, general contractors, remodelers, cabinet dealers, designers, and other trade professionals
- Identify and secure new builder, contractor, and remodeler accounts across the assigned territory
- Follow up on company-provided leads and convert prospects into active purchasing customers
- Present ProCraft Cabinetry product lines, programs, pricing, lead times, and service advantages to potential customers
- Build long-term partnerships with repeat customers by providing consistent follow-up, product knowledge, and support
- Work closely with internal teams including customer service, estimating, design, operations, and management to ensure customer needs are met
- Help customers select the right cabinet solutions for residential new construction, remodels, and light commercial projects
- Track sales activity, customer follow-up, opportunities, and account growth through the company CRM or sales reporting system
- Attend customer meetings, showroom visits, networking events, trade events, and field visits as needed
- Drive consistent revenue growth by opening new accounts and increasing sales from existing builder and contractor relationships
Skills
- Proven track record in builder sales, contractor sales, remodeling sales, or building materials sales
- Strong understanding of the residential construction and remodeling sales process
- Ability to build relationships with builders, contractors, remodelers, designers, and dealers
- Professional presence with strong communication, follow-up, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field and remotely
- Ability to manage multiple leads, customer accounts, and sales opportunities at the same time
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- No formal academic education background required
- Experience selling cabinetry, millwork, countertops, flooring, windows, doors, or other interior building products preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in construction, building materials, cabinetry, sales, or a related field preferred
