Key Responsibilities

- Receive, triage, and distribute incoming faxes to the appropriate internal teams (Concurrent Review, Behavioral Health, Medicare, etc.) within 1‑2 hours of receipt.
- Assist the utilization management team by tracking authorization status, ensuring compliance with policies, and documenting referrals, diagnoses, and prognoses for clinical reviewers.
- Maintain meticulous records, files, and documentation to support audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
- Stay current on healthcare authorization processes, medical terminology, and careerzynith policy updates; proactively apply new knowledge to daily tasks.
- Collaborate with the intake department to streamline workflow, reduce bottlenecks, and improve overall turnaround time.
