Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Compass International Holdings is seeking a Corporate Accountant II to prepare month end and year end financial and audit schedules. This role involves analyzing general ledger accounts and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare month end schedules for the income statement and balance sheet as reported to Compass International Holdings
- Analyze general ledger accounts and other statistical information timely and accurately
- Prepare comprehensive account analyses for balance sheet accounts
- This includes researching and recommending corrective action related to maintaining the integrity of the general ledger
- Development and implementation of action steps to clear outstanding items
- Maintain and reconcile subsidiary ledgers
- Prepare specialized reports and schedules for Cartus Corporate and Company management
- Complete special projects as requested by manager
Skills
- College degree - BS or BA in Accounting required
- Proficiency in Excel and Access
- Knowledge of general ledger and computerized financial systems required
- Two to four years in accounting preferred
