As an Account Services Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring clients have the proper documentation for opening investment accounts and providing support through various account management tasks.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage incoming fax communications, ensuring timely distribution to the appropriate individuals or team members
- Review new account setup data to ensure accuracy, proper documentation, and alignment across internal systems and platforms
- Enter new account information into the EFE client trading and reporting system
- Account maintenance for existing accounts (Address Change, Name Change, Planner Change, and Re-registrations)
- Conduct program migrations and conversions, ensuring account attributes remain consistent across internal systems
- Act as a liaison between custodians and Planning Teams to address inquiries, resolve issues, and implement necessary corrections
- Perform basic account audits to verify accurate setup within the Managed Services Platform (MSP)
- Respond to inquiries and provide support via the department hotline, offering clear and timely feedback
- Perform additional duties and support special projects as assigned
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to capture and interpret information effectively and resolve issues promptly
Skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information; confidentiality must be maintained at all times
- Basic understanding of SEC regulations relevant to investment advisory operations
- Excellent organizational abilities, with strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Client Service Teams
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in the financial services industry, specifically within a registered investment advisor environment
- Bachelor's degree preferred
