The Account Manager is responsible for day-to-day communication and coordination across mid-sized accounts, ensuring client goals are met through effective strategies and performance analysis.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage day-to-day communication, delivery, and coordination across mid-sized accounts (2–3 products/services)
- Own timelines, deliverables, and pacing, and monitor budget and resource usage to support account health
- Lead client communication with confidence, setting clear expectations and managing pushback professionally
- Prepare inputs for monthly performance reviews and QBRs, connecting results to client goals and strategy
- Analyze performance data across channels and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations
- Coordinate across service lines to keep messaging, strategy, and execution consistent, with clear briefs and timelines
- Identify risks or blockers early and escalate with context and proposed solutions
- Support renewal and account growth by identifying opportunities and partnering with RevOps and senior team members
- Follow documented processes and suggest improvements when workflows are unclear or inefficient
- Build team connection through clear communication and shared knowledge, contributing to an inclusive, supportive team dynamic
- Test new tools and workflows, sharing learnings that improve day-to-day efficiency
Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in an agency and client-facing role
- Experience independently managing small scopes or mid-sized client accounts
- Strong understanding of how marketing channels work together to support business goals
- Ability to interpret data and translate it into clear, actionable recommendations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables
- Experience working across multiple service lines (SEO, Paid Media, Social, Email)
- Familiarity with reporting and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker Studio)
- Prior experience supporting renewal or account growth conversations
