The role involves developing TPU sales, managing customer relationships, and overseeing the sales cycle from lead generation to commercial closure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and grow TPU sales across the U.S. market
- Identify and build long-term relationships with OEMs, converters, compounders, and distributors
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through sampling, trials, and commercial closure
- Serve as the customer interface for technical and commercial coordination with internal R&D team
- Lead pricing, forecasting, market analysis, and competitor tracking
- Represent the business at trade shows and industry events (up to 40–50% travel)
Skills
- Must have Thermoplastics and Technical sales experience
- 5+ years of B2B technical sales experience in TPU, TPEs, elastomers, or engineering polymers
- Proven ability to develop new markets and build strong customer relationships
- Existing network within OEMs, converters, distributors, or compounders
