Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PraxisPro is a seed-stage SaaS startup building conversational AI agents to transform training for account specialists and sales representatives in the life sciences industry. The Account Executive will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, selling software to commercial teams in the life sciences sector.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue: your primary objective is the growth and adoption of PraxisPro within life sciences Commercial organizations
- Prospect relentlessly: cold calls, cold emails, LinkedIn outreach, whatever it takes to fill the pipeline and get to a demo
- Run the full sales cycle: spear, qualify, demo, support pre-sales efforts, close deals, and collaborate on driving upsells
- Navigate siloed and complex orgs: build relationships with key stakeholders, and find your champions from managers to senior leaders
- You have your own #, but the team owns the bottoms-up forecast: own your pipeline, know your numbers, and hit your commits, and the rest of the team is expected to do the same
- Travel when it matters: bias towards in-person interactions, meet customers face-to-face, attend industry & local events
Skills
- Industry Native - you have personal experience with the problem and intimately know the gap that exists for solutions in the market, and have worked to try to solve them with your organization or customers
- 8-10+ years closing deals in biopharma/pharma/life science
- You've sold within, or to, life sciences, including pharma, biotech, or highly regulated industries
- You've closed $250K+ deals and know how to work complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. Bonus if you can share examples of land and expands to $1M+
- You own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, demoing, driving Pilots, negotiating, closing, and upselling in collaboration with PraxisPro Leadership
- You must be able to talk about AI, learning platforms, compliance training, and how our product solves real problems to drive better patient outcomes
- You can navigate a modern sales stack, including HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and AI dialers
- You maintain a clean CRM - forecasting, time management, and deal hygiene are second nature. Without trustworthy data, forecasts are worthless
- You're a strong and confident listener & communicator on calls, in emails, and in the room with executives
- Experience selling into regulated industries (GxP, compliance training, etc.)
- Experience working with life science industry tools (e.g. Veeva)
- Experience as an early sales hire and knowledge of what it takes to build from zero
- Existing network within life sciences L&D, Commercial Excellence or Marketing functions
