**Schedule and Work Environment**
As a Part-Time (34 hours/week) Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you will work a flexible schedule between 8am - 4:30pm CST, Monday through Friday. This role can be fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. Our remote work environment is designed to promote productivity, flexibility, and work-life balance.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers
* Entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times
* Navigating efficiently and effectively through the imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry
* Differentiating between different claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines
* Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling
* Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times
* Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements
**Additional Responsibilities**
In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also be expected to:
* Perform quality review of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines
* Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed
* Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies
* Provide recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate
**Qualifications and Requirements**
To be a successful Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you will need to possess:
* **Required Level of Education, Licenses, and/or Certificates**: High school diploma or equivalent
* **Required Level of Experience**: 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused role
* **Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
+ Strong data entry/typing skills
+ Excellent attention to detail
+ High degree of accuracy
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

**Assessment and Selection Process**
If selected for further consideration, you will be required to complete an online alphanumeric data entry assessment. A minimum of 8,200 KSPH with a 98% Accuracy Rate is required for the position.
