Responsibilities
- Transfer data from paper formats into database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.
- Type in data provided directly from customers.
- Create and manage spreadsheets with large numbers of figures.
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
- Update existing data and maintain the database integrity and accuracy.
- Retrieve data as requested and prepare reports.
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
