The Commonwealth of Kentucky, in collaboration with Deloitte, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the Internal Application System Support Branch (IASB). This role involves maintaining and enhancing health and family service systems like SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, and Child Care Assistance, ensuring smooth operation and functional delivery to internal users.Position:
The Business Analyst will gather and document requirements, resolve system issues, manage change requests, and collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders for the successful delivery of application functionalities in a state government environment.Responsibilities:Analyze, document, and manage business/system requirements.Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.Facilitate JAD sessions and stakeholder discussions.Manage Change Requests (CRs) across the SDLC.Prepare/review documentation: URDs, DDDs, and process documents.Collaborate with vendor and agency teams.Support initial design and project transition activities.Contribute to strategic and operational division efforts.Requirement Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.3 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in large IT systems or public assistance programs (SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, etc.).Proven skills in requirement gathering, business analysis, and SDLC processes.Proficiency in documentation, communication, and problem-solving.Experience in working cross-functionally and independently.Preferred: SQL, Microsoft Suite, TFS, eligibility program domain knowledge.Additional Information:Onsite role (no remote option)Division: Eligibility Systems, Office of Application Technology ServicesCandidate Details:Must have 3 5+ years of BA or program-specific experience (SNAP, Medicaid, etc.).Strong SDLC, documentation, and communication skills.Ideally experienced with eligibility/enrollment systems.Must be open to 5-day onsite work in Frankfort, KY.If you are interested, Kindly share your resume toThanks
