What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Lead Packaging Strategy Analyst at arenaflex, your days will be dynamic and impactful. Here's what you can expect:
- Develop Data Architecture: Build foundational data requirements, taxonomy structures, and category-specific logic to support packaging design optimization and sustainability initiatives across all Owned Brands. You'll create the framework that ensures data consistency and accuracy throughout the packaging lifecycle.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with Sourcing, Design, Store Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, Properties, and Compliance teams to establish relevant data requirements and flexible guidelines. Your work will ensure that our packaging is safe, reliable, cost-effective, and performance-driven.
- Manage Documentation Systems: Create and administer change management processes to ensure accurate packaging documentation portfolios across multiple systems and partner teams. You'll be the guardian of our packaging data integrity.
- Lead Training & Communication: Develop, manage, and execute innovative training programs and creative communications for both internal and external audiences. Your efforts will drive comprehensive understanding of standards, specifications, and data accuracy best practices.
- Optimize Solutions: Evaluate data requirements, standards, and specifications to recommend safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions that align with industry standards, enhance engineering practices, and maintain our leadership position in the industry.
- Guide Cross-Functional Teams: Provide support and guidance to cross-functional teams and colleagues to ensure proper interpretation and execution of packaging data requirements, standards, and specifications.
- Ensure Compliance: Consult with internal regulatory and compliance experts to identify impacts on current data requirements and standards, taking action to mitigate risks and identify opportunities for best-in-class compliance.
- Drive Global Collaboration: Work with cross-functional global partners to drive effective communication and roadshows around development objectives, compliance, and data accuracy best practices.
- Analyze Trends: Use data to identify trends or issues in partnership with technology teams, measuring the effectiveness of training delivered and communications sent.
- Industry Research: Investigate industry trends and assess arenaflex's comparable data and standards practices, sharing insights and recommendations with appropriate audiences for improvement and compliance.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to others, driving effectiveness and efficiency in team results. Foster a positive team culture by demonstrating behaviors consistent with arenaflex's values of Inclusivity, Connection, and Drive.
What We're Looking For: Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- 4+ years of experience developing and managing documentation and standards programs, preferably including packaging design and development
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, manage projects, facilitate groups, resolve conflict, build consensus, establish rapport, and collaborate effectively—inside and remotely—across all levels of the organization
- Experience with documentation best practices, technical writing, and reporting
- Strong skills in developing and advising on content, structure, and delivery of effective training programs, roadshows, and communications
- Experience leading teams and/or projects, driving collaboration, empowerment, and teamwork
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, creative thinking, and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Flexibility and resilience; comfortable working in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work, communicate, and lead in a highly collaborative environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

- Related experience with packaging or consumer products manufacturing
- Familiarity with Vizio applications or similar data management tools
