Our client is a renowned educational institution dedicated to advancing early childhood learning and is seeking a dynamic Lead Curriculum Developer to lead their remote curriculum development team. This position offers the full flexibility of remote work. You will be instrumental in creating innovative, research-based curricula and educational resources that empower educators and inspire young learners. This role requires a passion for early childhood development and a proven ability to design engaging and effective learning experiences. Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive early childhood curricula, ensuring alignment with national and state educational standards and best practices. Manage a team of curriculum specialists and content creators, providing guidance, feedback, and ensuring project timelines are met. Conduct thorough research on child development theories, pedagogical approaches, and educational trends to inform curriculum design. Develop engaging learning materials, activities, lesson plans, and assessment tools suitable for diverse age groups within early childhood. Collaborate with subject matter experts, educational consultants, and stakeholders to review and refine curriculum content. Oversee the digital adaptation and delivery of curricula through online platforms and learning management systems. Ensure curriculum content is inclusive, culturally responsive, and meets the needs of all learners. Develop training materials and provide professional development to educators on the effective implementation of the developed curricula. Evaluate the effectiveness of curricula through feedback mechanisms and data analysis, making necessary revisions. Qualifications: Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum Design, Educational Psychology, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in curriculum development, with at least 4 years specifically focused on early childhood education. Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team of educators or content developers. In-depth knowledge of child development principles, learning theories, and state/national early learning standards. Expertise in instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies. Strong proficiency with digital content creation tools, learning management systems (LMS), and virtual collaboration platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, manage complex projects, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
