HVASC offers smaller staff-to-student ratios, personalized graduation plans, and daily mentoring sessions and wraparound services to help meet the educational and social/emotional needs of our unique student population.
The Junior High Assistant Academic Administrator oversees and manages the educational programs, administrative operations, and social-emotional learning support for junior high students, either directly or through assigned supervisors.Applicants must be located in the state of South Carolina.Anticipated Salary Range: $61,100 - $66,100Time Off Plan: Week of July 4th, 25 days PTO, MLK Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Wed-Fri), Winter Break (Dec. 24 - Jan 1)Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problemsRequired Education & Experience Licensing/Certification: Valid state administrative license preferred. Current teaching certificate preferredPreferred Qualifications: Non-certified staff are compensated based on a combination of education and relevant experience.
