About the Role
The Part-Time Remote Customer Success Manager plays a critical role in arenaflex's success by managing the value, convenience, and performance of our Marketing and Personalization Technology products. In this position, you will design, build, and support a digital environment that elevates the arenaflex brand while growing our business through enhanced human connections, relationships, and experiences.
To succeed in this role, you must possess significant technical acumen and experience, along with a genuine passion for pleasing product customers with elegant solutions and engaging digital experiences. You will serve as a bridge between our technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that our products not only meet technical requirements but also deliver exceptional value to our end users.
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Success Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for driving the following:
- Product Planning and Development: Lead product planning and development through daily collaboration and decision-making with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, engineers, and business or subject matter experts.
- Requirements Translation: Translate customer experiences into technical requirements and product solutions that align with business objectives and user needs.
- Technical Leadership: Drive technical solutions for large features and complex components independently, serving as the primary technical point of contact for your initiatives.
- System Architecture: Demonstrate expertise in end-to-end system architecture and design, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Documentation: Create data flows, functional specifications, and technical documentation as needed to support product development and implementation.
- Acceptance Criteria: Define and manage acceptance criteria for product features, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.
- Requirements Management: Own the documentation of requirements and acceptance criteria per process, providing guidance and mentorship to others in the working group.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with makers, engineering, and QA teams to align feature scoping and delivery planning.
- Technical Communication: Ensure the engineering team has required information on endpoints, inputs, and outputs to execute effectively.
- Issue Resolution: Help resolve technical blocking issues and prioritize solutions across different technical teams.
- Validation and Testing: Perform validation of features against customer and business goals and acceptance criteria.
- Technical Assessment: Determine technical possibilities, dependencies, and constraints of features with support from adjacent technology teams as needed.
- Risk Management: Identify technical tradeoffs, raise risks, and manage mitigation in collaboration with neighboring teams.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with technology and business teams independently, building strong relationships across the organization.
- Mentorship: Act as a mentor and tutor to team members on various technical product management skills and best practices.
- Technical Solutions Definition: Work with engineering to define technical solutions for analysis and problem-solving.
- Performance Metrics: Define product performance and effectiveness metrics that measure and benchmark product success.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor feature performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization.
- Process Enhancement: Drive optimization and process improvements between product, design, and development teams.
- Technology Awareness: Stay current with technology capabilities and use this knowledge to contribute to innovative product solutions.
- Product Innovation: Suggest and design innovative products and features that enhance user experience and drive business growth.
- Roadmap Management: Work with product managers to scope and prioritize upcoming initiatives in the product roadmap.
- Digital Product Management: Manage a cross-team digital product roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Relationship Building: Build effective relationships with key internal engineering, product, and design teams.
- Product Backlog Management: Lead and manage product backlog prioritization with our business and technology partners.
- Feature Grooming: Lead product excess grooming sessions partnering with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management, technical program management, or related roles within the technology industry.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and product management practices.
- Remote Work: Must be able to work effectively in a remote environment with strong self-management and time-management skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work part-time hours as specified, with flexibility to attend meetings across different time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
