As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while being part of a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Data Entry Technician to join our team on a part-time basis (15-20 hours per week). As a key member of our Customs Brokerage team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, understanding and identifying customs documentation, and providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
- Understand and identify customs documentation
- Transpose customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
- Verify documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct
- Provide excellent customer service building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally
- Ensure compliance at all times to regulations
- Daily execution of workflow and department metrics
About You

Essential Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical
- Proficient computer skills, including solid data entry with a high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Growth mindset, eager to learn and develop your skills
- Desire for a career in supply chain/logistics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customs brokerage or a related field
- Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
- Experience with customs entry systems and software
