Grant Writer for Faith-Based Nonprofit Organizations

Apply Now
Grant Writer (Contractor) What You’ll Do: •Research and write grant applications, mostly for faith-based or conservative nonprofit clients. • Use our formatting template to keep everything consistent and straightforward for internal review. • If the grant foundation requests extra documentation, you’ll coordinate with the client to gather what’s needed, beyond what the end customer provides contractually to the Company. What We’re Doing • Mission-Driven Focus: We’re all about helping nonprofits secure the funding they need by writing winning grants. • Range of Services: We offer four service packages—from free support all the way up to a subscription program where we become the nonprofit’s entire grant department. • Opportunities for Innovation: Beyond writing grants, we are expanding AI integration, smart automation tools, and other operational improvements. We’re committed to growing without sacrificing our team’s well-being. Schedule & Deliverables: • You can work from anywhere, on your own schedule with agreed-upon deadlines. • Each company end customer typically has three grant applications, some more, some less. • You’ll be working as a 1099 contractor. • You’ll create each application in Word using our provided template, then upload online it in the format the foundation specifies. • We generally expect approx two grants finished in a work week, which often takes three to five hours per grant (often longer while you’re still learning). • We’ll provide training and access to our grants repository and writing guidelines. Compensation & Payment: • You’ll earn $TBD for each grant you research, and $TBD for each grant submitted. • Half of your fee is paid once you accept the project, and the balance is paid upon submitting the final deliverable. • We pay contractors on the second Friday of every month, with adjustments for federal holidays. • If the initial interview goes well, you’ll complete an interview with our lead researcher and grant writer. From there, if it still looks like a good fit between you and the Company, we’ll conduct a test project with you. We’ll review your completed work to decide if we’re a good fit for each other over the long haul. What We’re Looking For: • Must reside in the continental U.S. • Research-grade English writing skills- clear, persuasive, and well-organized. • Experience using AI tools is required. Over-reliance on AI is not. • Strong organizational skills to keep detailed, real-time records of your work. • Reliability in meeting deadlines. • Excellent customer interface skills. • Your own tools, software and licenses. • The ability to accept electronic payments through our payroll vendor. • A minimum commitment of six months after successfully completing the test project. You’re free to take on other (non-competing) assignments if you wish. A more detailed confidentiality agreement is specified in a partnering agreement between the Company and Contractor.
