Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years of experience specifically within the Government Contracting (GovCon) industry.

Payroll Expertise: Proven experience managing multi-state payroll and a strong understanding of federal/state payroll tax regulations.

GovCon Knowledge: Familiarity with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DCAA compliance requirements is highly preferred.

Technical Skills: * Proficiency in GovCon-specific ERPs (e.g., Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, or Sage Intacct).

Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation).

Experience with payroll platforms

Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills for resolving employee inquiries and the ability to handle sensitive, confidential data with total discretion.
