The Facet Group Config Analyst I will be responsible for the successful implementation of new and renewing group business, acting as a resource for implementation questions and configuration.
Responsibilities
- Validates data on group applications is complete and accurate
- Ensures accurate, quality configuration, and maintenance of the company’s business
- Coordinates group and member specific tasks with various internal departments
- Establishes group structure, premium rate tables, commission arrangements, eligibility of new group members and ensures the issuance of ID cards
- Responsible for group setup in Enterprise Benefit Tracker and Employer Online Services and adds member accumulator dollars in Facets for new groups
- Provides support for configuration testing and quality assurance to ensure smooth, stable, and timely implementation of new configurations or updates to Facets
- Prepares and delivers reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience
- Good understanding of health plans
- Ability to apply critical thinking to determine best operational approach to perform group configuration
- Knowledge of Facets and business components, especially benefits, premiums, provider networks and membership/enrollment
- Good documentation skills
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal customers
- High level of focus and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with good time management and ability to work with diverse teams
- Highly developed organizational, problem solving, and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Ability to function as part of a team
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft office applications, to include Microsoft Visio
- Typing proficiency of 35 wpm and 10key proficiency of 135 wpm
- Maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image
- Ability to work well under pressure with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities
- 1+ years of experience in the health insurance industry preferred
