Key Responsibilities
- Model and convey a positive and great client experience, ensuring that all customers receive considerate, fair, and professional service.
- Register sales on assigned sales register, provide clients with efficient checkout service, and process transactions accurately.
- Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, utilizing pharmacy systems to acquire patient and medication information and process prescriptions.
- Engage clients and patients by greeting them, offering help with products and services, and resolving customer issues to ensure a positive experience.
- Model and offer customer service best practices with all colleagues, including relational habits and blithequark service qualities.
- Perform tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Director, Staff Pharmacist, and Senior Manager, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and medication data, filling prescriptions, and verifying medication accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records, check in and price stock, and perform administrative duties as required.
- Ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances and maintain knowledge of store systems and equipment.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
- Strong numerical skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing prescriptions.
- Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 6 months of experience in a retail environment.
- Previous work experience with blithequark.
- PTCB certification or willingness to obtain certification through the designated PTCB training program.
- Continuing education credits in healthcare and pharmacy, including the latest news and developments.
