We are proud to be a part of a dynamic and growing organization that values diversity, inclusion, and employee development. **Job Summary** As a Patient Care Advocate, you will be responsible for handling customer service inquiries from members, providers, physicians, and internal and external clients related to pharmacy benefits. You will work to research and resolve problems in a timely manner, assist members in understanding and maximizing the use of their pharmacy distribution program, and use computerized systems to gather information and respond to questions. You will also document issues and resolutions in a common database and escalate issues as necessary. **Key Responsibilities** * Handle inbound and outbound member, provider, and physician calls * Answer questions related to pharmacy benefits, while maintaining productivity standards and performance guarantees where applicable * Work with other operational departments to research and resolve mail order and claims issues and respond to members within performance agreement guidelines * Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all inquiries in order to continuously improve the customer service process and reduce potential legal concerns * Identify and escalate in a prudent manner, concerns received from patients and/or clients so that corrective action can be pursued and expedited to take care of their needs * Responsible for good housekeeping techniques, adhering to quality and production standards while complying with all applicable company, state, and federal safety regulations * Perform other duties as needed **Essential Qualifications** * 1 year of experience in a call center environment (Preferred) * 1 year of experience in customer service (Preferred) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards * Ability to maintain accurate and complete documentation of all inquiries * Ability to identify and escalate concerns in a prudent manner * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in a healthcare or pharmaceutical industry * Knowledge of pharmacy benefits and distribution programs * Experience using computerized systems to gather information and respond to questions * Experience working with diverse populations and cultures * Bilingual or multilingual skills **Skills and Competencies** * Strong customer service skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards * Ability to maintain accurate and complete documentation of all inquiries * Ability to identify and escalate concerns in a prudent manner * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a remote environment and maintain productivity standards **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
