Job Overview
We are looking for an information-driven, meticulous, and analytical individual to fill the position of Manager, Analytics. As a part-time data entry and analytics manager, you will be responsible for supporting our paid media examination capability to surface data-driven key opportunities for the Chief Initiative group. Your primary focus will be on the optimization of our paid media spend worldwide, working closely with marketing teams to identify ways to improve the efficiencies of our paid media spend.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver reporting and insights in the space of paid media to inform business decisions and drive growth
- Design and build/lead the development of analytics, business intelligence, and data science expectations aimed at optimizing visible paid media and improving marketing efficiencies
- Collaborate with the paid media data science group and marketing teams on implementing media mix models
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis through database querying, followed by intelligent interpretation of results and the reporting and communication of recommendations that drive action
- Serve as a partner with marketing, finance, and data product teams to tackle business challenges and track marketing and product performance with a data-driven approach
- Leverage Structured Query Language (SQL), MicroStrategy, Tableau, Excel, and other reporting tools to create and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc reports
- Analyze data to identify business issues and lead deep dives to perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage data (internal data from arenaflex, as well as external data from market research and advertising agencies) and address complex business challenges by delivering meaningful insights
- Brainstorm and run analysis that generates insights on customer behavior and customer needs to help further develop and improve our value proposition
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Experience in the area of Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Consulting in an e-commerce environment or related field
- Advanced SQL experience
- Advanced experience with at least one industry analysis and metrics visualization tool (e.g., Tableau/QuickSight/PowerBI)
- Proficiency in Excel with a proven track record
- Degree in data science, business, economics, information technology, statistics, mathematics, or other related field
Preferred Qualifications

- You enjoy working in a team of highly engaged individuals
- You have a passion for numbers, data, and statistics, but also for delivering high-quality analysis and insights
- Strong bias for action, highly organized, and ability to complete tasks and projects with minimal direction and tight deadlines
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with both business management and technical teams effectively
- Experience with subscription-based or media content organizations
- Experience with and/or interest to learn more about cutting-edge data science approaches
- Programming languages: knowledge of Python
- Knowledge of other programming languages, such as Java or C#, or of statistical programming languages like R or SAS
- Knowledge of Adobe Analytics
