**Key Responsibilities:**
* Promote and sell air travel to the traveling public or freight forwarders, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
* Assist with passenger check-in and cargo acceptance, ensuring that all procedures are followed accurately and efficiently.
* Interpret government rules and requirements for domestic and international travel or cargo shipments, providing clear guidance to customers and colleagues alike.
* Meet and dispatch aircraft within established times, ensuring that flights depart and arrive on schedule.
* Provide assistance to distressed passengers and customers, responding promptly and professionally to their needs.
* Protect company property and revenue, maintaining a safe and secure environment for all customers and employees.
* Possess the physical ability and dexterity to use motor skills to perform various job-related tasks, including driving and operating air stairs.
* Use organizational skills to perform multiple tasks within a limited time period, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
* Be self-motivated and require minimal supervision, taking initiative to resolve issues and improve processes.
* Respond and assist during security and emergency situations, providing critical support to customers and colleagues.
* Follow internal and external policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
* May be required to drive and operate air stairs up to various types of aircraft in order to enplane and deplane passengers.
* Responsible for the overall performance within work area and may be required to lead and direct the work of other employees.
* May be required to perform Passenger Operation Control functions, including air to ground communication as well as Tower functions.
**Essential and Preferred Qualifications:**
* **Minimum Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
+ Bilingual language skills required in some locations
+ Applicable valid driver's license as required by local authorities
+ Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
+ Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
+ Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends and holidays
+ Must report to work on a regular and timely basis
* **Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Previous experience in customer service or a related field
+ Knowledge of government rules and regulations related to air travel and cargo shipments
