As a Maintenance Control Technician, you will be the primary point of contact for coordinating aircraft maintenance across various locations, supporting the minute-to-minute operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and support to assigned staff, leveraging strong knowledge and expertise in aircraft maintenance.
- Utilize technical manuals, such as the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) and Structural Repair Manual (SRM), to inform maintenance decisions.
- Coordinate requirements for field trips to non-maintenance stations, ensuring timely and effective maintenance support.
- Request and partially coordinate work of contract maintenance staff in non-maintenance stations.
- Update delay data and Deferred Maintenance Report (DMR) entries for non-maintenance stations.
- Investigate open non-routine maintenance items on assigned fleet(s) or system(s), developing and implementing plans to resolve persistent aircraft discrepancies.
- Monitor system or engine performance, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
- Maintain an up-to-date list of aircraft status (ETR) and communicate ETR and MEL data to relevant IOC personnel.
- Alarm the Maintenance Operations Center (MOC) Chief on the job when issues arise that negatively impact system operations.
- Evaluate past mechanical interruptions, following up to ensure positive final corrective action.
- Maintain and control all aspects of aircraft certifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform other MOC duties as assigned.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- The ability to read, write, speak fluently, and understand the English language or language native to the geographical area.
- The ability to troubleshoot using wiring diagrams and system schematics.
- A minimum of 4 years of Flight Support Professional experience on commercial or military aircraft.
- An F.A.A. Airframe and Powerplant permit.
- Knowledge of MEL, ETOPS, and GPM.
- The ability to work rotating shifts and overtime, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and days off.
- The ability to travel for support of inoperable aircraft.
- The ability to report to work on a regular and timely basis.
- Must satisfy FAA criminal personal verifications to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA).
- Must be able to successfully complete our drug screening process.
- Must have the ability to obtain proper airport and/or US Customs security identifications.
- Must be able to act professionally under stressful circumstances.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Broad Flight and/or Maintenance Control Specialist experience.
- Extensive Aircraft systems troubleshooting experience.
- A Bachelor's degree.
