**Job Summary**
We're looking for an experienced Industrial Engineering Transportation Analyst to join our Transportation team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you'll play a critical role in helping us meet the demands of our growing business. You'll work closely with our managers to analyze and prioritize business needs, integrate data from multiple sources, and develop solutions to optimize our transportation fleet. **Key Responsibilities**
As an Industrial Engineering Transportation Analyst, you'll be responsible for:
* Helping to optimize the H.L. Transportation Fleet by analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs
* Collaborating with managers to outline and prioritize business needs, ensuring that our transportation operations are aligned with our overall business strategy
* Integrating data from multiple sources, including database platforms, to gain insights and inform decision-making
* Building, creating, and maintaining multiple Excel spreadsheets to track and analyze data
* Providing data-driven insights and recommendations to inform business decisions and drive growth
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Previous experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a logistics or transportation-related field
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization
* Experience with Microsoft Access, including database design and development
* Strong typing and 10-key skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* A high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree in a related field (such as logistics, transportation, or business administration) preferred
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
* Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software
* Familiarity with SQL and database management
* Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment
* Certification in a related field, such as Certified Logistics Professional (CLP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
