This is a remote opportunity, and you will be working from the comfort of your own home, with the flexibility to manage your work schedule and balance your personal life. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist in activities related to the medical and psychological aspects of utilization and coordinated care * Outreach attempts via telephone to members assigned each day, providing them with information and support to ensure they receive the best possible care * Consistently update an Excel spreadsheet with member assignments listed, ensuring accurate and timely tracking of member interactions * Maintain consistent communication with your supervisor, providing regular updates on your progress and any challenges you may be facing * Document each phone call in Virtual Health, ensuring that all interactions are accurately recorded and easily accessible for future reference **Performance Expectations** * Make a high volume of outbound calls to members, with a goal of completing 80-120 phone calls per day to the Medicare population * Demonstrate a strong understanding of medical terminology and apply this knowledge to provide accurate and effective support to members * Ensure reliable home internet with a dedicated workspace, as well as a hardwired internet connection to meet HIPAA requirements * Achieve an engagement rate of 80% or more per month, demonstrating your ability to build strong relationships with members and provide them with the support they need * Maintain a compliance rate of 100% for all assigned members, ensuring that all interactions are conducted in accordance with arenaflex policies and procedures * Achieve an audit score of a minimum of 90%, demonstrating your ability to accurately document interactions and maintain high-quality records * Complete 600 members per month, with a goal of 30 new members daily assigned **Essential Qualifications** * 2-3 years of experience in a managed care setting, medical office, or facility setting, with a strong understanding of medical administration duties * Thorough knowledge of customer service, utilization review, or claims processing practices in a managed care environment * Ability to operate office equipment, including a personal computer * Strong knowledge of medical terminology and its application in a customer service setting * Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities * Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with members and colleagues * Great Excel skills, with the ability to accurately update spreadsheets and track member interactions * High school diploma or equivalent * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, with the ability to navigate and utilize various software applications **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in a remote or virtual environment * Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and their application in a customer service setting * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high volume of calls and interactions * Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues * Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team **Work Environment and Company Culture** As a remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with the ability to manage your work schedule and balance your personal life. arenaflex is committed to creating a positive and supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.
