**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer – Virtual & Simulation Testing to join our MSP Team. As a key member of our team, you will develop virtual platforms to allow solutions to be tested and verified through simulations and emulations with a high degree of fidelity, using most of the real software, at full scale. You will partner with Product Teams to drive high-quality product delivery, the QA Manual Testing and Requirements Team to synchronize virtual and physical tests, and internal Customers (Operations, Maintenance, Process, Ops Engineering, etc.) to ensure new Solutions meet their requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Develop, implement, and execute simulations and Hardware In the Loop (HIL) to virtually validate end-to-end solutions, with real-life software
• Virtually ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, operation, reliability, maintenance, training & learning, deployment, process- and MHE- integration, service and support prior to delivery
• Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products
• Communicate quality standards and parameters to the product team to include hardware, software, controls, and materials development teams
• Coordinate simulations and testing processes
• Identify and analyze issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommend and facilitate solutions to these issues
• Connect with internal customers (Operations, RME, ACES, PE, OpsEng, WWDE, etc.), review client, customer, and user feedback
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies
**Essential Qualifications**
• Bachelor's degree (BS)
• 5+ years proven experience working with large cross-functional engineering teams with modelling, simulation, testing, integration, and/or quality assurance domain expertise
• Proven experience in fulfillment systems with storage equipment, material handling systems, automated sortation systems, and related automation equipment
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel up to 70% to business locations and project sites
**Preferred Qualifications**
• Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems including robotics, and high-speed manufacturing
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, operations, and management
• Project managing skills to start projects and finish projects successfully
