Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic analysis of blithequark credit metrics, credit provision, and reserve for Senior Management in Risk and Finance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to inform business decisions
- Own and manage specific data assets/packages within Risk Finance, serving as a subject matter expert and driving adoption of relevant tools and technologies
- Develop and maintain standard and ad-hoc reports utilized by Risk Finance and/or business partners, offering credit-related analytical support and guidance
- Develop and present key analyses and recommendations to Senior Management, leveraging data-driven insights to drive business growth and risk management
- Build and maintain relationships across Risk Finance portfolio groups and with partners in Risk, Controllership, Tech, and other functions, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
- Provide decision-support with a strong emphasis on developing analytics that identify trends and opportunities in the portfolio, enabling optimized business and risk decisions
Essential Qualifications
- Advanced experience working with a majority of the following technologies: SQL/Hive, Power BI/Tableau, Python/R, VBA, TM1
- Experience working with a sophisticated level of Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create complex models and presentations
- Experience in ML modeling is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques
- Solid financial and analytical skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and draw meaningful conclusions
- Superior attention to detail, alongside exemplary organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and work within tight timelines
- Must be results-driven and proactive, with a strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to build and maintain relationships and collaborate effectively with team members to achieve goals
