Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the functionality and usability of our internal software applications, diagnosing and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support cloud-based applications and work with cloud DB technologies such as Snowflake, leveraging your expertise to drive innovation and improvement.
- Develop and implement scripts using Python/PowerShell for ETL processes, automating tasks and enhancing data management.
- Perform routine operational tasks, troubleshoot errors, and initiate corrective and preventive actions as necessary to maintain optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Document issues and resolutions, providing valuable insights and knowledge sharing across the team.
Essential Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Servers, with a deep understanding of database administration and management.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in IT and computer systems.
- Proven experience in database high availability and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring business continuity and minimizing downtime.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Git, facilitating streamlined development and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, promoting iterative and adaptive project management.
