The System Quality team at Apple is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist and Software Programs Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in developing new tools and processes for the SWE Program bundle, with a focus on improving programming quality for iOS and macOS. Key Responsibilities
- Design, drive, analyze, and interpret tests and assessments to improve programming quality for iOS and macOS
- Develop and maintain distributed data pipelines and analysis tools to support the SWE Program bundle
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize areas for improvement
- Develop and implement new tools and processes to improve programming quality and efficiency
- Work closely with the Planning and QA teams to ensure tight integration and rapid development
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve programming quality and efficiency
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Experience with distributed measurement, aggregation, and workflow management (Cassandra, Spark, Airflow)
- Experience designing, driving, analyzing, and interpreting tests and assessments
- Strong understanding of data science principles, including data variety, cleaning, extraction, transformation, loading, analysis, and visualization
- Excellent written, verbal, and data communication skills
- Passion for client-focused design and top-notch development
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Experience with machine learning and deep learning techniques
