**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team at arenaflex. As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and systems that support our business operations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements, design and implement data pipelines, and ensure the quality and integrity of our data assets.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design and develop large-scale data pipelines and systems using cloud-based technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS
* Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to identify data requirements and design data pipelines that meet their needs
* Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python, SQL, and other programming languages
* Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation, data cleansing, and data transformation processes
* Work with data architects to design and implement data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage solutions
* Develop and maintain automated workflows and scripts to support data pipeline operations
* Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of data pipelines
* Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues and errors in a timely and efficient manner
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
* Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience using Snowflake and PostgreSQL
* Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
* Experience with containerization using Docker
* Experience with source control systems such as GitLab or GitHub
* Strong understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases
* Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI
* Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
* Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions such as Amazon S3 or Google Cloud Storage
* Experience with data governance and data security best practices
