About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Customer Support Representative to join our team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our clients. As our first dedicated CS rep, you will be an integral part of our team and will have the opportunity to build and shape our customer support processes from the ground up. You will be working closely with our team to resolve customer inquiries, provide product feedback, and contribute to the growth and development of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers via live chat or email to resolve issues and provide support in a timely and professional manner
- Continuously learn about the features of our app and the broader Shopify ecosystem to provide expert guidance and support to our customers
- Summarize product feedback from merchants and suggest new ways of product improvement to our development team
- Perform non-CS related tasks, such as researching tools, writing blog posts, or creating mockups, based on your natural abilities and interests
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement processes and procedures that will enable us to deliver exceptional customer support
- Provide technical documentation and articles to help our customers get the most out of our app
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess superb written and verbal communication skills, a passion for helping others, and the ability to handle challenging customer situations. You should be comfortable discussing technical concepts at a high level and have a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Additionally, you should be proficient in basic CSS and JS and be willing to learn more if needed.
Essential Qualifications
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoy talking to people and solving their problems
- Able to handle "hard" customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Proficient in discussing technical concepts at a high level
- Comfortable working with basic CSS and JS and willingness/interest to learn more if needed
- Ability/willingness to write technical documentation/articles
- Willingness to perform non-CS related tasks and wear multiple hats in a small startup environment
- Willingness to have at least 4 hour overlap with GMT+7 9am-6pm
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Shopify, especially in theme development/customization
- Experience working with B2B SaaS
- Additional languages (especially French, Spanish, and Italian)
- Any other skills that can be beneficial to a startup (e.g. marketing, SEO, video editing, etc.)
