About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our team, working remotely from the comfort of your own home. As a remote team member, you will be responsible for engaging directly with customers, providing exceptional support, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with customers via phone, email, or chat to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide product recommendations

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening), with the ability to demonstrate these skills in a written assessment
- Ability to multi-task, performing well in a fast-paced environment and maintaining a conversation on the phone while navigating on the computer and taking notes
- Proficiency in using computers, including data entry and rapid navigation through systems and the internet to search for information to support customers
- Ability to adapt to change with the business needs of the company, with flexibility to shift schedule and work overtime as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a proven ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Knowledge of the pet industry, with a passion for animals and a desire to learn more about our products and services
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
Technical Requirements
To work remotely with blithequark, you will need:
- A dedicated work area that is large enough to accommodate computer monitors and is free from distractions, including background noise that may impact the customer experience
- A reliable wired, high-speed internet connection (30 Mbps+ download speed/ 10Mbps+ upload speed), with the ability to test your internet speed and meet this requirement
- A cell phone or tablet that can be used for two-factor authentication through Okta Verify, with options for a smartphone or tablet on which the Okta mobile app can be downloaded, or a cell phone that can receive SMS messages and phone calls
