Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients and prescribers through inbound and outbound phone calls or web support, addressing various inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle a range of customer inquiries, including scheduling medication orders, order status updates, explaining patient benefits, resolving account issues, and billing inquiries.
- Serve as a liaison between patients and internal expert teams, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
- Participate in extensive paid training to ensure proficiency in blithequark systems and procedures, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and best practices.
- Maintain high call volume productivity, handling an average of 30-50 calls daily, while adhering to scheduled work hours and meeting performance metrics.
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in customer service, anticipating patient needs and providing solutions proactively.
Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced call center environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to various patient perspectives.
- Excellent time-management abilities, with a proven track record of staying organized and managing multiple priorities.
- A customer-oriented mindset, with a capacity to empathize with patients and provide personalized support.
- Availability to work within Contact Center hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 11:00 pm EST, and Saturday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST.
- Reliable internet connectivity and a dedicated workspace free of distractions.
- A commitment to attending 100% of training within the first 90 days of employment.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous experience in a specialty pharmacy or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations, patient support, and healthcare industry trends.
- Certifications or training in customer service, patient care, or a related field.
