Position Summary and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to establish and maintain a vibrant and programmatic line of research in hearing science/audiology, with a strong publication record and current or clear potential for extramural funding. The position is a tenure-track/tenured, 10-month appointment with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2024. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting research in hearing science/audiology, with a focus on advancing the field and contributing to the department's research mission
- Teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, with a commitment to innovative and effective pedagogy
- Mentoring students, including advising and supervising research projects
- Providing service to the department, university, and profession, including participating in departmental and university-wide committees and initiatives

Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
- A Ph.D. in Speech and Hearing Sciences or a related field (e.g., psychology, biomedical engineering, neuroscience) at the time of hire
- An established record of research productivity, with a strong publication record and current or clear potential for extramural funding
