Job Discription
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive Disaster Management strategies covering preparedness, response, recovery, mitigation, training programs, emergency drills, and operational exercises.
- Design and deliver virtual and in-person community awareness and training programs on disaster preparedness and emergency planning.
- Lead the coordination, assessment, and communication of emergency response and recovery requirements with business units to protect people, assets, property, and operations during unexpected disasters.
- Plan, direct, and oversee all activities related to the Group's disaster preparedness program, including maintaining and activating the Disaster Management System (DMS) procedures.
- Identify potential risks, threats, and vulnerabilities that may impact the Group's operations, and proactively strengthen organizational resilience and response capabilities.
- Develop and lead comprehensive training and simulation programs for employees at all organizational levels—from operational teams to executive leadership—including specialized training for personnel with designated emergency response roles.
- Collaborate with the Group Risk Management function to develop and maintain Business Impact Analysis documentation and Business Continuity Plans, ensuring appropriate mitigation measures are implemented to minimize business disruption.
- Support the Group Risk Manager in managing and continuously improving the Business Continuity Management framework, including corporate incident response methodologies, emergency plans, and recovery protocols to ensure operational resilience.
- Assume a leadership role during disaster and crisis situations, ensuring effective coordination, communication, and decision-making across the Group.
- Develop, maintain, test, and continuously improve Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans for the holding company and all group subsidiaries.
- Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments to identify and prioritize critical business processes.
- Plan, organize, and facilitate emergency response drills, crisis simulations, and business continuity exercises across all Group companies.
- Work closely with IT, Information Security, Human Resources, Corporate Communications, and other business functions to minimize operational disruptions and ensure business resilience.
- Coordinate and oversee business continuity initiatives across all Group entities, ensuring alignment with corporate governance standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications: Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), ISO 31000, ISO 22301, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Disaster and Emergency Management.
- Strong knowledge of Business Continuity Management (BCM) frameworks and ISO 22301 standards.
- Ability to identify potential risks, anticipate issues, and respond effectively during crises.
- Excellent analytical, coordination, and crisis management skills.
- Experience within holding companies or multi-entity organizations is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Positive, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset.
