Description
The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis should hold a degree in Finance or Accounting, followed by relevant work experience, preferably five to ten years of work experience. Experience with forecasting models and cost accounting processes are key requirements for this position. Ultimately, the candidate will ensure financial analysis is robust and supports the business operations objectives. The Director will also be in a supervisory position with direct report(s).

Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required (i.e. Finance, Economics, or Accounting)
5+ years of relevant work experience required
Budgeting, Income Statement analysis and forecasting experience is required
M&A experience is a plus
Healthcare experience preferred
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office ( Excel and PowerPoint) is required
PowerBI and Tableau experience are a plus
Experience building complex models and mining data using excel is required
Strong systems orientation preferred
Strong work ethic, with attention to detail and quality, is required
Able to function independently with a minimum of direct supervision
Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:
Develop Excel models to analyze product-level profitability and trends
Develop models to evaluate NPV and ROI on existing product lines and potential new business opportunities
Lead annual budget process; provide analysis to current year results, both financial and operating statistics
Develop and Implement process to analyze budget and prior year variances; provide assessment of opportunities to improve results to management
Perform balance sheet reviews by line of business
Analyze potential acquisition opportunities, including detailed review of financial statements
Analyze and report on gross and operating margin trends by therapy, including changes in payor mix
Lead acquired company integration efforts, post-acquisition
Develop and implement working capital and Capex efficiency reports
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Demonstrate “leadership by example” in projecting a positive attitude, and involvement in our employee activities
Perform other duties as assigned
